How do I install an eSIM on Android?
How do I set up an eSIM on Android devices?
Setting up an eSIM involves two key steps: installation and activation. You can install the eSIM in your compatible device whenever you want. However, activation requires being within the coverage area of your chosen eSIM plan.
For the best experience, we recommend installing the eSIM before traveling and activating it upon arrival at your destination.
There are two ways to add an eSIM to your device (note that these steps may vary depending on the device):
Option 1: Scanning the eSIM QR code
Install the eSIM by scanning the QR code.
Scan your QR code and add the confirmation code if requested.
To activate the eSIM, follow these steps:
Activate the eSIM in Mobile Network.
Enable mobile data.
Enable data roaming (deactivate your main line to avoid roaming charges from your operator abroad).
Option 2: Add the eSIM manually
If you are having trouble scanning the QR code or cannot scan it, you can enter the eSIM information manually.
Follow these steps to install the eSIM:
Log in to your account to find your QR code.
Go to your device settings.
Pulse Network and Internet.
Tap the Add icon next to Mobile Network.
Press Next when asked "Don't you have a SIM card?".
Press Enter code manually. You will be prompted to enter your SM-DP+ address in the following format: LPA:1$SMDP+ADDRESS$ACTIVATIONCODE
To activate the eSIM, follow these steps:
Activate your eSIM on Mobile Network.
Enable Mobile Data.
Enable Data Roaming (deactivate your main line to avoid roaming charges from your carrier abroad).
The eSIM QR code is unique and can only be installed once. If you've lost or changed your device, or if you've accidentally removed the eSIM, you'll need to purchase a new one. We'll help you transfer any unused data to your new line. You can contact us via chat or email. Get in touch, and we'll help you if you have any issues.
Change your eSIM label
On your device, name it "bundle_name". This will clearly identify it, improving the efficiency of our support service.
To change the label of an eSIM on an Android device, go to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager, select the eSIM whose name you want to change, and edit the label in the corresponding field.
