How do I set up an eSIM on iOS devices?
Setting up an eSIM involves two steps: installation and activation. You can install the eSIM in your compatible device whenever possible. However, to activate your chosen eSIM package, make sure you are in an area covered by your eSIM.
We recommend installing the eSIM before embarking on a new adventure and activating the service upon arrival in the destination country.

Method 1. Use a direct eSIM installation link

Method 2. Use a QR code
Settings > Mobile data > Add mobile data plan, place the QR code in the frame, scan it and select OK.
* The eSIM QR code is unique and can only be installed once. If you have lost, changed devices, or accidentally removed the eSIM, you will need to purchase a new one. We will help you transfer any unused data to your new line.
Method 3. Use an activation code
If your device cannot scan the eSIM QR code, you can add your account manually using the activation code (LPA) provided.
Settings > Cell Phone > Add Cell Phone Plan > Select "Enter details manually" (located below the scanner) > Enter the following information:
- SM DP + Address: XXX
- Activation code: YYY
Activation
Once the eSIM is added to your device, follow the instructions below to activate the plan in your iOS device settings and start using data immediately.
1. Activate your eSIM in the cellular data menu.
2. If you want to use both lines, enable "Allow cellular data switching" in the cellular data menu. If you only want to use the Evasim eSIM, disable it to avoid charges on your other line.
3. Activate data roaming (deactivate your main line to avoid roaming charges from your operator when you are abroad).
*You will not be charged any additional fees with data roaming activated.
Change your eSIM line label
On your phone, label the eSIM as "Evasim _country name". This will help clearly identify the eSIM on your device.
To change the label of an eSIM on an iOS device, go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) > select the eSIM you want to edit > tap "Cellular Plan Label" and enter a custom label.
Can I use iMessage with my eSIM?
